Hushwave is the record that correctly establishes the new genre b e g o t t e n identifies his music under. Everything sounds at peace and tame. Almost like floating through your clouds of thoughts. pinefruit

Of all the b e g o t t e n records, this is the one that I could connect with the most. The sounds all play with each other so elegantly. The samples are so altered that you might as well forget the original song and let your mind flow with where b e g o t t e n’s mental state is at here. pinefruit

The defining part of- and the most dealbreaking parts of slushwave is its vocals. Usually, slowed down vocals are more uncanny to me than anything, but Desert Sands, and this album in particular turn what is usually a turnoff into one of the most spectacular musical pieces ever.
This whole album feels like you’ve been transported into a place transcending all known nations or environments, language or culture. This album leads you to explore your mind, and all the memories you’ve forgotten. Tancevat
